Pyridium ® (Phenazopyridine Hydrochloride) is light or dark red to dark violet, odorless, slightly bitter, crystalline powder. It has a specific local analgesic effect in the urinary tract, promptly relieving burning and pain. It has the following structural formula: Pyridium - Clinical Pharmacology.
